The midfield looks as if it is in crisis, but as long as Petit is fit all should be well. Manu in the middle. Grimandi playing deep. Henry and Overmars pushing up the flanks sounds all right to me.

If Petit is out, then step forward either Malz or Vernazza. Ok it will be a big loss but both players will have to get their Premiership exposure at some point. Let's see what they're made of.

By all accounts the team did Ok at Boro in the circumstances - 3 debuts in one game! If Suker had taken his late chance it could have been a famous victory. But going out wasn't too painful. at least we never really cared in the first place - unlike Spurs at Fulham

If they lose against Newcastle in the cup next week - their season will over before Christmas!!!

Imagine some poor kid getting a Spurs kit on Xmas Day with the team already standing no chance of winning anything! Shame!
