The Wig & Gown is back in business. A pub always popular with football fans in the past has a future that should ensure anyone living in the vicinity or working nearby now has the perfect pub to enjoy all the biggest sporting events. If you're worried that you won't be able to see the screen then don't, I doubt there's a pub anywhere in Holloway with so many widescreen T.V.s spread all around the bar. There is a tremendous selection of food, lunchtimes are always lively, and there is also a good value bar with a wonderful range of beers. The friendly atmosphere makes it a good place to stop off for a drink whether itıs football day or not. The test of a good pub, when writing a review for it, is whether or not youıd drink in there.
