25 Canonbury Lane

No prizes in guessing the name of this public house. The bar is on the site of the former Four Sisters pub but there the similarity ends. This has only recently re-opened after a complete refurbishment. What a difference has been made. Twenty Five Canonbury Lane has achieved what it has set out to do. This is without question a 'New Islington' venture. It is a bright, classy, vibrant bar with a wonderful range of food from a very reasonably priced menu. The feeling of Islington is alive in here and why wouldnąt it be with an owner born and bred in N1. New Islington and Old Islington meet happily here and leave you with the feeling you've been out somewhere very special indeed. If you like Chas n' Dave and boozy football songs then this isnąt for you. If you like something up market and more Kings Road than Kings Cross then it is well worth checking out.
